Lest We Forget…

This week’s #Illuminare is a reminder of God’s promises to you: 

  1. I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out — plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. Jeremiah 29:11 MSG.
  2. Do not be afraid — I am with you! I am your God – let nothing terrify you! I will make you strong and help you; I will protect you and save you. Isaiah 41:10 GNT.
  3. The mountains and hills may crumble, but my love for you will never end; I will keep forever my promise of peace. So says the Lord who loves you. Isaiah 54:10 GNT.
  4. If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask him, and he will gladly tell you, for he is always ready to give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask him; he will not resent it. James 1:5 TLB.
  5. But if we confess our sins to God, he will keep his promise and do what is right: he will forgive us our sins and purify us from all our wrongdoing. 1 John 1:9 GNB.

  8. Then call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory. Psalm 50:15 NLT.
  9. The Lord protects you and keeps you alive. He gives you prosperity in the land and rescues you from your enemies. Psalms 41:2 NLT.
  10. For I will give you abundant water for your thirst and for your parched fields. And I will pour out my Spirit and my blessings on your children. Isaiah 44:3 TLB.
  11. I will put my Spirit in you, and you shall live. And I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken it and performed it. Ezekiel 37:14 NKJV.
  12. But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 NKJV.
  13. I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way you should go. Isaiah 48:17 NKJV.
  14. Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Then come to me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis. Matthew 11:28 TPT.
  15. Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the one who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6 NKJV.
  16. But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 NKJV.
  17. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; he shall preserve your soul. Psalm 121: 6-7 NKJV.
  18. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you. Psalm 91:7 NKJV.
  19. God is good, a hiding place in tough times. He recognises and welcomes anyone looking for help, no matter how desperate the trouble. Nahum 1:7 MSG.
  20. Do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10 ESV.
  21. The name of the Lord is a strong fortress; the godly run to him and are safe. Proverbs 18:10 NLT.
  22. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Isaiah 40:29 ESV.
  23. No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 ESV.
  24. I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid. John 14:27 NLT.
  25. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 ESV.
  26. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16 NKJV.
  27. Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history. Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new. It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it? There it is! I’m making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands. Isaiah 43:18-19 MSG.
  28. You will eat the fruit of your labour; blessings and prosperity will be yours. Psalm 128:2 NIV.
  29. God who began the good work within you will keep right on helping you grow in his grace until his task within you is finally finished on that day when Jesus Christ returns. Philippians 1:6 TLB.
  30. With God all things are possible. Matthew 19:26 NKJV.
  31. Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come. Jeremiah 33:3 NLT.
  32. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. Isaiah 43:2 NIV.
  33. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8 NIV.
  34. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that you may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10 NIV.
  35. You are God’s chosen treasure – priests who are kings, a spiritual nation set apart as God’s devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience his marvellous light, and now claims you as his very own. 1 Peter 2:9 TPT.
  36. I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. Ezekiel 36:26 NLT.
  37. The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace. Exodus 14:14 NKJV.
  38. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the Lord upholds him with his hand. Psalm 37:23-24 NKJV.
  39. Yes, be bold and strong! Banish fear and doubt! For remember, the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9 TLB.
  40. For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds, says the Lord. Jeremiah 30:17 NKJV.
  41. Your ears shall hear a word behind you saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left. Isaiah 30:21 NKJV.
  42. For I will contend with him who contends with you, and I will save your children. Isaiah 49:25 NKJV.
  43. But on Mount Zion there shall be deliverance and there shall be holiness. The house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. Obadiah 1:17 NKJV.
  44. None of my words will be postponed any more, but the word which I speak will be done, says the Lord God. Ezekiel 12:28 NKJV.
  45. Even the strong and the wealthy grow weak and hungry, but those who passionately pursue the Lord will never lack any good thing. Psalm 34:10 TPT.
  46. The Lord will open to you his good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations but you shall not borrow. Deuteronomy 28:12 NKJV.
  47. Remember this: sin will not conquer you, for God already has! You are not governed by law but governed by the reign of the grace of God. Romans 6:14 TPT.
  48. Obstacles as great as mountains will disappear before you. Zechariah 4:7 GNT.
  49. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you. Ephesians 3:20 TPT.
